Pain of a Parent..

As I have stated; I am a husband and a father of three beautiful children, 2 boys and a girl ranging from 9.5, 8, and 2.5.  It has almost been 10 years since my oldest had to go into Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to find out that he would need to have open heart surgery.  He was just a month old, didn't have any complications during his birth or nothing out of the ordinary.  Til this one night where my wife and I decided we were going to go eat diner with the baby at Eat N Park.  We had to rush him to the emergency room because he was breathing to hard.  His stomach was just pulsating in a way that was very scary to brand new parents.  The doctors were running test and checking in on him all night, one thought he had pneumonia but it couldn't be because there were no fever nor any other symptoms that would be geared towards it.

Early the next morning the doctors walk in and explained how he had two holes in his upper and lower ventricle of the heart and that his aorta was very narrow and needed to be stretched.  As brand new parents we didn't know what to do, how can we look at our baby and not feel his pain and not think it was something that we did or something that was hereditary?  Luckily we had friends and family that were there to help support us in our time of need.  The doctors told us that everyone is born with a hole in the heart but it is to close at the time of birth usually within the first few weeks, but unfortunately this was not the case for my son.  So they patched him up and stretched out his aorta and thanks to Dr. Lee Beerman, MD and his staff my son has been able to live a normal life with no meds and a yearly check up.

This was in 2002, it is now 2012 and about 6 months ago we were told during his annual checkup that they found a small tiny hole and wanted to monitor it.  So he was prescribed cozaar a blood thinner to try and help with the blood flow.  Just yesterday he went back for his 6 month check up to follow up with an EKG and Echo and it has been determined that my child has to have another surgery because his aorta has enlarged.

Now how does one cope with this, I know we were prepared for this because we were informed after the first surgery but are you ever truly prepared for anything of this magnitude.  This is my child, my first born son we are talking about.  I am here to protect, guide and shield him from harm so how can I when I feel helpless at this point.  My wife and I have the support of family and friends still, we talked with our son and tried to explain it as best as we could.  He is very intelligent and loves science, anatomy, technology, Astronomy, etc.  He seems to be ok with it and ask questions here and there, but at the same time I am trying to hold back my fears, my tears, and my worried looks so that it doesn't affect him.  I don't want him to stop being a kid and shield him more but what else can I do.  One of my favorite movies John Q reminds me of this situation and it frightens me that one day my kid could be out playing and suddenly collapse and I think this is what has me distraught.  But as the man of the house I have to stand up and be the protector of this family and not show my fears and be strong for my wife and kids.  So I pray, I pray that the swelling goes down, I pray that the surgery won't be needed, I pray that he is protected and that he lives a long and healthy life.  I pray that he out lives me.  I pray that I can show him every day how much I love him and his siblings and that he knows daddy will always be here.  I pray...And so I ask you to pray for us in this time of need.

Geraldo apologizes once again

Just a week ago Gearldo Rivera had blamed the Hoodie for the tragic death of Trayvon Martin.  He said that "Trayvon Martin, God bless him, an Innocent kid, a wonderful kid, a box of skittles in his hands.  He didn't deserve to die.  But I bet you money, if he didn't have that hoodie on, that nutty neighborhood watch guy wouldn't have responded in that violent and aggressive way."~USA Today  and then says that he is always telling his son who is dark skin to stop wearing hoodies and why does he have to be the one to keep telling minority parents the importance of informing their kids about the danger of being a minority kid in America.

This week he is apologizing... Yea I bet he is apologizing now, but it wasn't much of an apology because he is still talking stupid about gangsta clothing...A hoodie is not gangsta wear I have seen more skate boarders and a few rock n rollers wear hoodies than that of rappers or gangsta's. and it is a week to late, like what your publicist and producer advise you to do so...stop saying stupid things and you won't have to apologize every time you open your mouth.  How about saying something worth saying and support the cause for Justice for this young man and help to get this murderer in jail so that his family can have some relief.  Get some of your celebrity friends to back you up and have a rally to stop the violence and to help get guns off of the streets.  Get a walk together to try and change the laws that have holes in them in the florida law systems.  Do something positive instead of adding more fule to the fire and salt to the wounds of Trayvon's family.

I love Birthday Cake!!!

Trina Braxton's Debut

LaLa's Full Court

Now this is what I am talking about; I love a positive, sophisticated, well rounded (mental/physical), uplifting women.  LaLa is a great wife, friend, and mother.  There is so much to say about Lala and the way that she treats her friends and family.

This episode she had to figure out how she was going to be able to attend her best friend Kelly Rowland's birthday party and walk in the red dress fashion show.  She couldn't disappoint her friend and she didn't want to not do something that she has been wanting to do for a long time.  So she made it possible to do both, but it wouldn't be Lala if she didn't pull a prank.  She tells Kelly she won't be able to attend her party because she is too busy and can't get away.  So she decides to surprise her at the restaurant where she scheduled a birthday diner, but Kelly canceled it because she didn't think she was coming.  What does La do, she heads over to where Kelly is and still surprises her and treats her out to eat.  Now that is friendship.  They all got along at diner, there were no glasses being thrown and no one screaming acting a fool.  Although we as Americans seem to feed off of other peoples drama an occasional show like LaLa's full court that shows positiveness amongst women and their families is much needed, so I appreciate you sharing your world with us LaLa.

Bad Girls Club...OMMFG

LMAO yoooooooooooo OMMFG. Tonight's episode of  The bad girls club Vegas was the shit.  I have been waiting for this moment from the time that they walked into the bad girls club house.  These twins Dani and Gabi have walked around this house from day one like they owned it.  They were able to get one girl out then when Elise walks in they tried so hard to get her out but she didn't break.  But tonight the tables turned and they got pushed out the bad girls club house and Mimi returned, but not before Mimi was able to get her revenge for the broken Mars Neckless.  I thought it was so funny that the last episode that the twins tried talking to the producers about how they felt scared because now there were 4 against 2 but the entire time they were there it was 5 against 1.  I had to bust out laughing when the producer said oh now your getting a dose of your own medicine you can't take it.  So fucking epic!!!

But unfortunately Erica's boyfriend was being an ass and wanted to leave, not sure if she is through with him though.  And dude thought he was like diesel or something when they was about to get it on but he looked like he had a damn C-section wtf was up with his stomach though.  Your better off without him Erica find someone that don't play kids games cause he playing you right now.

Ok back to the epidemic of the show.  So the girls decide tonight is the night to get these twis and they throw all their food in the pool and in th.e yard, break their Vases, etc. so the twins come home sees what they did and they start helping out and throwing the other girls stuff out too.  One twin thought it would be a good idea to go upstairs by herself and throw trash in the girls room and then had the nerve to try and throw a trash can at Gia, man she jumped off that bed so fast and started whaling on that girl. then the other girls jumped in and was like "where's your sister at now bitch" ctfu.  then the other twin comes in and tries to get in it and they get her too then security finally comes in to break it up.  These girls are bleeding and scratched up they go crying to their dad talking about dad these 5 girls just jumped us tell us what we are suppose to do.  Really...Your dad is the one that pumped yaw up and was high fiving yaw through the phone when you jumped Elise, now you wanna cry cause you got yours.  What goes around comes around, and like I said in a previous post I am not for violence but sometimes your get pushed to that point from people like this.

Tonights Recap of Basketball Wives

Ok so we pick up this weeks episode of Basketball Wives from Shaunie's birthday party diner when Shaunie is getting up and escorting Evelyn outside because she seems to be provoked by Jennifer's comment about being respectful.  Stop Right there what you mean that comment is direct towards you Evelyn, you damn right it was after you just sat there and did a shitty toast about loyalty that was definitely geared towards Jenn.  That girl ain't worried about you, she doesn't bring your name up unless someone else does first. But its like you are so miserable and hurt by whatever, because from my perception the blog wasn't that bad even though if that's your girl it shouldn't have been said.  But your willing to ruin your friends diner because of your beef with someone in your point of view is a Non Mother Fucking Factor right....Evelyn needs some anger management and slow her roll on that wine and liquor cause she crazy.  I mean she fell out with Royce, Tami, Gloria, Jenn and now Kenya is about to be in the hot seat.

Now jumping ahead, this thing with the new girls...Kenya and Kesha...Why!!! Like really yaw are really trying to get ya air time now right.  Kenya, now you know Kesha is not a fighter so you going to act tough but just a minute ago when you was the target of the girls wrath you wasn't kicking off your shoes ready to throw blows.  Everyone can see that you are trying way to hard to try and be apart of this circle which I do not understand why because all they do is fight and argue.  Although it is all amusing and great tv these women are way too old to be acting like this.

And what is up with Suzie this season, she back in the circle and acting and damn fool.  Like you was gossiping then and now you trying to be tough because you back.  You are so lucky Tami didn't smack da shit out you when made that food stamp comment, somebody needs to slap some sense into her.  I am not one for violence but damn it some people need it.

But I just can not wait til the next episode when the tables turn for Kenya because she is acting like another whats her name Meesha that couldn't remember what she said how she said it and when she said it.  Kenya you bout to be moved right out the show already and you haven't been on 5episodes yet. Now she is Ratchet!!!

Rally Today at CMU in Wake of Trayvon Martin's Death

There will be a Rally held today at Carnegie Mellon University in wake of Trayvon Martin.  It will begin at 12:30pm-1:30pm est today.  I, unfortunately, will not be in attendance due to work schedule but I hope it is a big turn out as this is a very worthy cause for a situation that should never have occurred.

Ice Loves Coco...

I have to say that I love "Ice Loves Coco", this show is awesome.  I feel like their relationship is amazing and sort of reminds me of my wife and I's relationship when we first got married, but it seems to be getting back there.  This week they were in Miami and a friend of Ice's shows up unannounced.  He says he is there promoting things here and there, but he ended up every where they were.  Ice finally talks to him because Coco thought it would be just them on a relaxing getaway.  They go fishing and catch the biggest fish Coco has seen and this was only her second time fishing.  The first time she caught a big fish Ice accidentally deleted the picture so he made it possible to recapture her moment.  I think that was great, that is what marriage is all about...making the one you love happy and enjoying that happiness together.  Ice T and Coco I commend you for sharing parts of your life with us and I respect the two of you tremendously and Ice just have to say that Law and Order SVU is my favorite I can't really get into the other ones like I do with this one.  Keep up the great work and stay true to each other.

Braxton Sisters

I just listened to Tamar Braxton-Herbert single The Heart in Me and Trina Braxton's Party or Go Home.  I liked both singles.  Sounds like Tamar has a stronger voice but Trina gives off that sex appeal.  Looking good on your  cover Trina.  If you haven't heard them yet I think you better go get em.

I don't know if you all watch the Braxton's on WeTv but I love this show.  It takes you on a journey of the girls all coming into their own with their other sisters Traci and Toni, their ups and downs within their relationships and the love they have for their mom and dad who I think are just great.  I am glad to see some positivity on tv even with that crazy Tamar and her crazy sayings.  The Braxton's at 9pm est on Thursday nights now thats hot.com

Hunger Games

Hunger Games Opening night was huge, at least it was here in Pittsburgh.  I was able to attend opening night with a few friends, we caught the 12:06 am showing at Lowes and it was packed.  I arrived at 11:30pm Thursday night just to try and get a good seat and I still had to sit all the way up front.  There were so many teens, adults and even pre teens in this theater.  Which Didn't surprise me to find out that Hunger Games brought in a whopping $68.3Million opening night.  It takes fifth place as both the biggest-ever opening day and single day, in both instances pushing past The Dark Knight.

This movie was very tastefully done.  There are 12 districts that a name is pulled from in order to pick a male and female from each district so that they may fight in the annual Hunger Games.  There is romance, action, suspense, drama, a little sci fi all rolled up into this movie.  There are some veterans as well as rookies casted within this film.  I think it is a great movie to go see, I can't really go into detail about why you should go see it without giving away the movie unless you read the book then you would understand  Unfortunately, I was one of the ones that didn't read it, but just take my advice and go see it ASAP.  you won't be disappointed!
Say a little prayer for the young brother that got killed
Say a little prayer for the loss that a mother has to bare
Say a little prayer for the men held captive
Say a little prayer for the armed forces that fight for our freedom daily

Say a little prayer for the families that has had to bury countless family members
Say a little prayer to the child that got hit by a stray bullet
Say a little prayer to the men being beaten by police brutality

Say a little prayer for your enemies, for they know not what they do
Say a little prayer to the young angels being carried home way too soon
Say a little prayer to the souls all around the globe, for without prayer where would we be

It is a shame for the countless lives that have been stolen by violence
Whatever happened to having a simple disagreement or argue by debate
Why must we bury our young, I was always told that the child was to out live their parents
Guess in today's society that just is not the case

Lift up every voice and raise your fist
and lets pray a little prayer for you and for me, for him and for she, for those that have been lost and those that are sick We pray this little prayer for them

"The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in the green pastures:  He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:  And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever." ~Psalm23

Geraldo Rivera Blames Hoodie For Trayvon Martin's Death

In recent news this idiot Geraldo Rivera thought it was necessary to blame a Hoodie for the Death Of Trayvon Martin. Oh Really, STFU Geraldo.  Who gave you the right to even put your 2 cents in where it doesn't belong.  Who do you think you are to try and tell the black and Hispanic Community or any community for that matter what they can and can not wear?  So are you saying if I see a strange white man walking around my neighborhood in a suit that he deserves to die because I don't know if he is looking for drugs and that all white men shouldn't wear suits when walking on the streets or better yet lets say a trench coat because usually white guys who wear trench coats got a big gun underneath there....Its appalling to think a man with fam and followers that you would even think it would be a good idea to even say something like this.

He goes on to say
"Trayvon Martin, God bless him, an innocent kid, a wonderful kid, a box of Skittles in his hands. He didn't deserve to die. But I bet you money, if he didn't have that hoodie on, that nutty neighborhood watch guy wouldn't have responded in that violent and aggressive way," ~USA Today  He then goes on to say how he is always telling his son who is dark skinned to stop wearing hoodie's and why does he have to keep reminding minority parents of the dangers of being a minority kid in America.

First of all from what we have heard, this man had an unlicensed gun, he was apparently drunk or on drugs, and he called the police and was told to stop following Trayvon...Hmm interesting.  And this psycho is still on the lose and the police have the gull to put him under protective services.  Now had the tables turned the black young man would have been under the jail, probably beaten and I bet Geraldo wouldn't have had the same views that it was the hoodie that lead to his death.

Secondly, It shouldn't be a race thing we are in 2012 and I am so tired of it coming down to that, but there are so many close minded individuals that keep the race card alive.  I have many friends, Black, White, Asian, Indian, Mixed, Latin, etc.  I don't see race although I would be dumb to say that I don't see differences in the culture.  I am one that can adapt in any situation and have fun and be accepted by all. And to make a statement that every minority kid in baggy clothes or a hoodie is a hoodlum because that's what you see on the surveillance cameras when a 711 has been robbed.  Ok so then you are saying that it safe to say that every quiet white kid that has been bullied or doesn't feel loved is going to shoot up a school because that is what we always see on the news.  I mean really Geraldo think before you speak because you sound very ignorant.

I know many young kids and adults prefer a hoodie over a heavy coat.  I know if its cold out and your trying to keep your ears warm and you don't wear a hat you put on your hood to keep warm.  I know many coats have hoods on them.  I know that if I see someone strange in the neighborhood I am not going to follow them I am going to call the police lock my door and let the police handle it.  I thought i knew our police were here to serve and protect the public, so why wasn't Trayvon Protected.  Why is his killer still on the lose in protective custody at that.  I hope that Justice will prevail and Trayvon can RIP and his family can get some sign of relief that their son's murderer has been convicted.

Touch Premiers Season 1 Episode 2 Tonight

I can not wait to see the second episode of Touch finally tonight....I was able to catch the first one last month and like many I was upset because I had to wait a month to continue watching, but it is finally here tonight after American Idol on fox.

This show from my perspective is about a child who is autistic and takes his father on a journey to find out what these series of numbers mean that his son has written down.  The son Jake Bohm played by David Mazouz is a great actor.  The dad Martin Bohm played by Kiefer Sutherland. the Aurthur teller played by Danny Glover who is amazing helps the father to understand what his purpose is now.  I mean I can go on and on, but look forward to watching a great show Tonight on Fox at 9pm est

What is wrong with you!

Someone please tell me what has happened to Wreck Rooms, Basketball Courts, Cheer leading Try Outs, Chess Clubs, etc....I mean I know I am not the only one that is thinking this but what is wrong with you kids today and feeling the need to harm yourselfs and others?

We have all seen the epidemic of countless youtube videos where kids are sniffing paint, glue, ammonia, red pepper and now they have the "Cinnamon Challenge"..."The cinnamon challenge is a challenge that became an internet meme in which a person attempts to eat or swallow a tablespoonful[1] of ground cinnamon in under 60 seconds without drinking anything.[2][3][4] While the challenge appears to be very simple, it is actually very difficult because the cinnamon quickly dries out the mouth,[3] making swallowing difficult.[2] The challenge has been around since 2001, and increased in popularity in 2007.[5] By 2010, many people had posted videos of themselves attempting this challenge on YouTube and other social networking websites.[3] The cinnamon challenge continues to be an active challenge,[1][6] with Twitter mentions peaking at nearly 70,000 per day in January 2012.Wikipedia

Now I recently heard this story and come to find out it was a challenge on Big Brother.  I think it is just stupid and irresponsible to even think this is alright.  A young lady was just ran to a hospital because she couldn't breathe and had asthma which made it worst.  This brings me back to the subject of watch your children, pay attention to the sites they are on and if need be if they set up a account on a social site don't allow  them on the computers unless you have access to that account so you can monitor it.  I have a 9 year old and he has asked me if he could have a face book page because his friends had one...No absolutely not.  No one under the age of 18 should have a FB page or a youtube page because of stuff like this.  I just do not get it, you need something to do get a job and babysit, walk the neighborhood dogs, start a lemonade stand, do something productive with yourselves and stop with these idiotic stunts.

Say What You Mean and Mean What You Say

On my way to work I was able to catch one of my favorite morning radio stations on IHeartRadio, the Steve Harvey Morning Show.  So they had the Strawberry Letter segment of the show and this woman is talking about she has been in this relationship and how her man proposed to her and all she could say was "your not ready for me" now its 12 years into the relationship and she is now ready but scared to ask him.  She also goes into saying she knows he is probably also seeing other people and they are together every now and then.  As well as her friends and family are blaming her for this relationship not going no where.

Ok ladies, why do you all play these games.  It is hard enough for us as men to open our hearts and show our feelings and when we do you ladies just walk all over it like its nothing.  You say you want a good man and when you get one your so scared of what could be that you go off and find the first "rough neck" that doesn't give a crap about you then your wishing you could get back with your ex who has probably already moved on.

Regarding this woman from the letter, I think she should set aside her fear and just sit the man down and casually go over the subject and ask, "hey where are we at this point, do you think we can still make it, are you still thinking about marriage and a family, do you think I can make you happy, why did you decide to ask me to marry you, how do you feel about how I declined your first try"  I mean anything to get the communication flowing.  Ladies we are not mind readers and if you tell us one thing but yet mean another how are we suppose to know, stop playing these games.  Communication is key in any relationship, without it you are just a leaf blowing in the wind.

Keep your kids Safe Trust no one

I am sitting here watching the news and low and behold another dumb parent making excuses for a boyfriend who put her 3year old daughter in a tub filled with scolding hot .water.  The lil girl said he put her in the tub because she lost her sock...Are you fucking kidding me right now.  I can't stand hearing about kids being abused by the boyfriends.  I have said for years if government want to get involved in everything else people need to go through parenting classes before they are allowed to get pregnant.  so many people out here that can not have kids that would show that child so much love are suffering because they can't get pregnant but yet these sorry excuse for humans are out here sleeping with tom dick and harry getting knocked up and not know who their babies father really is.  You have to pay attention to your children and pay attention to your surroundings and be careful who you let into your life especially into your childs life.  Too many people out here are jumping in and out of relationships faster than I can change my underwear and they are introducing their kids to these people, why!!!!  no one gets effected more than the children.  I have 3 kids of my own and I am cautious of even letting them go to their grandparents houses for the weekend.  Sometimes I even stay the night with them.  I have a big family and my kids have never stayed at a friends house, cousins house, aunt or uncle.  Why because I don't trust anyone but myself with the safety of my children.

I just had to share my frustration with you all, just keep your kids safe and be careful who you let around them and build a relationship with them that lets them know that they can tell you anything and always tell them you love them because tomorrow is never promised to us.

American Idol~ My picks for Final 3

I am very pleased with the selection of contestants on American Idol this year.  I actually stopped watching after Jennifer Hudson won, but I am glad I decided to watch this year.  It was hard for me to choose because there is such talent between the current top 10;  DeAndre Brackensick, Hollie Cavanagh, Colton Dixon, Heejun Han, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Elise Testone, and Erika Van Pelt.

I have decided that I would like to see the following in the final 3 spot:

1.  Joshua Ledet (he has a great gift and I believe he can win this)

2. Phillip Phillips (such an amazing gift and very humbled)

3. Jessica Sanchez (gorgeous young lady, amazing voice, and fashionista in the making)

With that being said, I think before we get to the final 3 that the following addition will be included in the top 6:

4. Skylar Laine (love her countryness its so pure)

5. Colton Dixon (his voice reminds me of Nicholas Jonas but edgier)

6. Erika Van  Pelt (great style, solid voice)

I think Hollie Cavanagh is good but can she only do high notes?  I think in order for her to go further in the competion she has to learn to grasp the sound of uptemp and low tempo songs.  Heejun Han I think is great but with his deep accent I think that sometimes on certain songs hender him a little.  DeAndre Brackensick is another good singer but he keeps picking the wrong songs that is going to be his down fall.  Elise Testone is actually one of my favorites remind me kind of a joss stone but there aren't really too many singers that sound like her today which from previous shows has showed us america not ready for a voice like theres but other countries maybe as of this day.

Communicate, do you?

Do you communicate?  This should be a household topic by now.  Communication sometimes get lost amongst not only couples but parents, bosses, even pets.    We are so overwhelmed with what is affecting us that we don't stop to think about the ones around us.  When was the last time you told your spouse you love them, when was the last time you set aside time to read your child a book, when was the last time you told your team; great job, how about the last time you baby talked and rubbed your pet?  It is very important to set aside time to communicate with others because without them your in this world alone and it can be a scary place.

When upset with your spouse never go to bed angry because you will wake up pissed at the world and no one will win.  Voice your opinion at that moment and allow them to voice theirs.

If there is something you don't understand, ask a question.  There are no stupid questions, its important for you to understand rather having the wrong information or no info at all and attempting to do the wrong then which will eventually need to be done again.

Don't lie to your children, tell them the truth but in a way that they will understand.  Some kids know too much info that they shouldn't and others are to sheltered that they aren't ready for the outside world.  Find a balance that works for you and stick with it.

I hope this helps some, if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  I am still new to this blogging so bare with me, don't want to put too much on here that you all get tired of reading.

Robert De Niro VS Michelle Obama

In recent news we have found that racism seems to still be a joke around the world.  We have a well known great actor Robert De Niro who thought it would be funny to say "Now do you really think our country is ready for a white first lady?" While hosting a benefit for President Barack Obama's reelection campaign in New York City on Monday night.  Now I can take a joke like anyone else and I am sure that is all he was meaning is for it to be a joke, but De Niro really...know your audience comic 101.  I mean we are in the year 2012 can we just let the racial barriers go. We have rich and poor blacks as we do white, Asians, Latins, etc.  Why is racism still a topic.  I thought after 911 people would be more grateful for life and not sweating the small stuff but I see that just isn't the case.  Its just a shame because every race has something to be proud about within their own community that we should be able to embrace upon others and "Live the Dream" as Dr. Martin Luther King would have wanted.

My Take on the Stars of Basketball Wives

Jennifer~  I think she can be cool once she finds herself.  With currently going through her divorce and now her friendship has ended with long time friend and co-star Evelyn that she is kind of lost, hurt, and confused.  I think it is great that she has a lip gloss line going which can help guide her into her own and much more success.  But I don't think she should break off ties with the rest of the ladies because Eveyln and she aren't friends.  I am glad she has been taking up for herself and not backing down.

Royce~ I love Royce.  She seems to be the same from day 1 of airing.  She has her beliefs and she doesn't take any lip from any of the girls and when she feels you are wrong she will voice it and if she is wrong is she woman enough to admit it.

Tami~ You gotta love Tami, she has come along way.  I am glad she has been going to therapy to try and help with her anger.  Cause I know had she not she probably would have jumped on one of the new girls by now.  She has been through a lot and I am glad she was able to share a piece of herself with us it gave insight to why she is always fighting.  But Tami take a few breathes and think before you speak because you can't always jump into attack mode when someone disagrees with you or says something you don't like.

Shauni~ I think she is a great business woman, a beautiful black woman, and a great mom; but...I think she is starting to act catty like the rest of the girls.  She isn't on the show as often but when she is she is gossiping. Now at her birthday diner when Evelyn and Jenn were arguing and Evelyn asked her if she was good and she said yea I didn't agree with. You should have said can yaw not do this now or whatever like that is your night not Evelyns.

Evelyn~ At first I was a fan of hers then as time went on she was throwing more drinks at people to be able to sneak them cause they blind I was like that is a punk move right there.  Then I saw the episode with her dad and it was heart felt then more drama erupted between her and the other girls and I'm like let the little stuff go. Like this mess with Jenn, OK if she wrote a blog that was so bad about you that you stop being friends that should be the end of it.  Why is it that your so angry about it still that you can't be civil and ignore her when your in public if she is that much of a Non Mfin factor in your life now.  That little speech at Shauni's bday diner didn't need to happen.  You didn't seem worried about Jenn before the drinks started flowing....I think she needs to grow up and stop fighting and stop sweating the small stuff. If it bothers you that much about a blog then write a blog of your own about your views on the girl and let it go IJS

Suzie~  This girl is a hot mess.  I was pissed for Tami when she made that comment about their bank accounts thank Shaunie and how they all came up from things like food stamps right tami.  Like really, where that come from that was a low blow.  She needs to put them drinks down.  She pulled herself back up from being the underdog on the outside of the circle to now starting drama with the girls that are outside of the circle so the hot seat is off of her. She aint fooling no one, but now your on Tami's bad list so you better watch out.

Kenya~ She is a little cookie in the head and a little calculated.  Why she trying to get bout it with Kesha, she wasn't taking off her shoes when Tami or the other girls were calling her out.IJS.  But she seems like one of those ones that will shank you when you least expected she is not to be trusted.  I did however like her video that they finally made.  But there are still several episodes to go so maybe she will change my perception of her.

Kesha~ I am glad that she is not really falling too far into the girls trap of gossiping behind the others back and I am glad that she was able to share more about her background in the beginning of the season.  I am sure I wasn't the only one that thought she was a little quiet and snobbish at the beginning but now she seems down to earth and just a little reserved.  But only time will tell

All though some of the girls people will love to hate and others people just love, we wish all you ladies much success and happiness and we look forward to more seasons to come.

Women and Reality Tv

Have you ever noticed that there is a big pool of reality tv shows that are geared towards women tearing each other down?  I don't understand it, but like many Americans I can not turn the channel because they are not only ridiculous but very entertaining.  For instance I was just watching basketball wives and Tami got mad at Keisha because she went and told Evelyn that she felt offended by the racial comments that she made and because she didn't say it to you first, now you don't like her...Last I checked they are both grown women and the way I look at it is perhaps she was scared to confront Tami because of watching previous seasons you have been confrontational.  Do I understand both sides yes, Keisha should have told her how she felt right at that moment but at the same time she is grown and not everyone goes by Tami's Rule book. But I still love you Tami, your one of my favorites on the show.
I think there should be a turn of events and have guys on reality tv showing upcoming artist and what they are doing to prepare to make it big...or upcoming entrepreneurs, etc and just to throw some drama into the mix lets have a show like bad girls club but all guys and lets see who will survive to the end.
